QUICK TIP: Nordic Chic Moisturizing Lipstick works just as well on your cheeks as on your lips!
LIPSTICK AS BLUSH This is a no-brainer; there’s absolutely no reason why you can’t dab a little of your favorite lipstick on the cheeks as well. Lipstick tends to be a little more pigmented than blush so pay extra attention to colors that suit your skin tone. Start by adding a little color to the apples of your cheeks, then layer as desired. Use your fingers for applying since the waxy, creamy texture blends more seamlessly into your skin. Creamy textures look more natural as they melt into the skin perfectly. Moisturizing lipsticks can be easier to blend but matte colors can work too. For a radiant flush try the same shade on your lips and cheeks. QUICK TIP: Nordic Chic Moisturizing Lipstick works just as well on your cheeks as on your lips and there are 16 delicious shades to choose from.
BLUSH AS LIP COLOR If lipstick can be used on the cheeks, you can definitely turn this tip the other way around too. Creamy or liquid blush can also be used as a lip color. Enhance your lip balm by adding some liquid, cream or even powder blush on top. You get a lot more variation with colors this way and can get creative even during a quick work trip with limited lip color options. QUICK TIP: try Watercolor Blush on top of your lip balm to get perfectly defined nude lips.
HIGHLIGHTER AS EYESHADOW To achieve a fresh and instantly brighter look, dab a few drops of liquid highlighter on the cheekbones and eyelids too. The subtle glow from the highlighter makes your eyes look instantly wider by reflecting light. Apply a few drops of highlighter first to the back of your hand and dab by fingers to the center of the upper eyelid. Try this also in the inner corners of the eye. You can do this trick on top of your eyeshadow or for a more natural look, use without. QUICK TIP: add a few drops of Instant Illuminizer to your foundation to achieve super fresh, glowy skin.
QUICK TIP: rosy warm shades actually complement all eye colors, just be sure to cover all natural darkness and redness carefully under the eyes
POWDER BLUSH AS EYESHADOW Natural and subtle powder blushes work perfectly as an eyeshadow. Don't try this with the brightest blush shades, instead opt for natural rose or coral tones to update your eye look. Apply your blush with a fluffy eyeshadow brush on the upper lid then blend slightly above the crease. Wearing the same tones on your eyes and cheeks creates a fresh and warm harmonious look. QUICK TIP: rosy warm colors actually complement all eye colors, just be sure to cover all natural darkness and redness carefully under the eyes.
